Sorry the picture is a bit fuzzy-- but you can still make out the details of how the glasses stay in place...
I drilled a small hole into Scratch's mane-- right under where the corner of her glasses touches her mane.
I also glued a short piece of copper wire to the back of her glasses. I set up the angles so that the glasses could easily be plugged in-- they wire only goes in about 1/8th of an inch, if even that.
The drill bit was a 1/16th inch wide drill bit and the wire was a solid strand of guage 14 copper (1/16th of an inch wide...)
