Well, I've had my Cintiq for... 3 days now? So yeah, figured it was time to jump into the deep end and challenge myself a bit more...

So here you go... one Nightmare Moon. It's still a work in progress, mainly because I didn't originally intend on drawing her other wing, but now I feel like I need to draw her other wing. LOL!

And yes, I cheated, I used a photo of the night sky as the background. Heck if I know a good way to sprinkle stars about the canvas!

Anywho... hope you enjoy. I know I've been enjoying drawing her.

Well, normally I don't... I used to draw tons of stuff all the time when I was a kid... but I've traditionally been terrible at drawing anything digitally because I can't draw with a mouse and my hand eye coordination never clicked with a regular drawing tablet-- so I bought myself a Cintiq-- and Presto! I can draw again!!!

Thanks! I wish I could say it was skill-- but I'm still learning everything, so it was pretty much dumb luck.

Not much-- I used to draw a bunch when I was back in Jr. High/High School- so 20 years ago? This is only the 5th picture I've done on the Contiq with Paint Tool Sai though...
