I'm just goofing around a bit here. I know for certain that there is interest in if Pinkie's mane will be able to fit on a pegasus-- for certain reasons... The answer is that I'm planning on modifying one of the first casts so that I'll have a compatible mane for those who want to add a certain Surprise to their collection (go find your Blossomforth's now!!!)

If you've seen the episode Party of One, you'd know that Pinkamena is depressed Pinkie Pie, so why not make those eyes sad as well as demented?

Party of One is my favorite episode... When I finally get around to painting her eyes, they're going to be either upset or crazy... I'd do "sad", but I can't exactly change the smile molded onto her plastic face without getting into some serious cosmetic surgery.

Maybe sad/demented eyes with tears?

LOL! ...and hopefully I'll be finishing the other two of those kits this December and they'll be available when I reopen orders next year.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of clay do you use to sculpt? I usually just use regular Sculpey (usually just play around with it, or make little scale models of stuff), but it's not quite as firm as I would like. Whatever you use looks like it holds it's form really well. :)

It's just regular sculpey, same as you're using.

The only real difference that I'm finding between what I do and what others are doing is that I'm baking multiple times-- I make a solid base to work on and add more material later, usually only focusing on one small area at a time. I also use an x-acto knife and sand paper on it to carve/smooth it out.
