Pinkie Doodle

One of the things I have to learn with my artwork is that everything doesn't have to look perfect and sterile.  Part of what I've been doing with these sketches is exploring different ways to approach artwork- I've always been able to sketch- but in the past I would focus very intently on making the line art look perfect...  or at least try.  In doing that I always seemed to come up with a very flat looking uninspiring picture.  And this doesn't just reflect on my drawings- but on my sculpts as well.  On my Daring Do drawing, and more so on this little musing of Pinkie Pie, I tossed the whole concept of line art out the window- and I'm very happy with the results.  It's a first step to exploring more ways to art and developing my own style.

TLR= I was always good at coloring in the lines- exploring a world without lines is fun and adventurous.  ;D
